Frequently Asked Questions

Here are just a few of the frequently asked questions we get.  Have questions of your own?  Call us anytime!

Do you use employees or subcontractors?
That’s a great question everyone should ask! All our core products are installed by our own employees to ensure proper installation. Our employees go through a comprehensive hiring and training process to ensure our employees are the kind of people we would want to work around our own homes and families. That’s not to say we never hire subcontractors, because we need subs for special trades like concrete, electric, masons, framing, etc. Employees are covered by worker’s compensation which protects the homeowner as much as the employee, and we only use subs who provide us with a certificate of insurance proving the same coverage.

What is the typical cost of a Pergola, Awning or Patio Cover?
Price is a huge factor, and we understand that. There’s no “standard” project from Dynamic Awning Solutions, every single one is custom to each client’s needs and wants. However, pricing is determined by size, the sites degree of difficulty, and other factors such as accessories like heating, lighting, fans and privacy screens that all make up the job’s specifications. Estimating the price of a project without considering all these specifications is just a stab in the dark

Do you offer a warranty on your product/service?
Warranties are very important and valuable but are only as good as the company issuing them so make sure the company is solid. We stand by all our products that we manufacture in-house and only work with manufacturers that have been in business for more than 20 years. Some warranties are for a lifetime against manufacturing defects, others may have a specific number of years on a portion of the project. For example, the fabric on our awnings is warrantied for 10 years. We have copies of the warranties available for your inspection.

Do you offer free quotes/estimates?
The term “Free Estimate/Quote” has been used for a long time in our industry, but the definition is vague. We do “contract pricing”, which is a firm price rather than an estimate that can grow without notice. Because contract pricing puts the onus on us to keep the contract price throughout the project (hidden defects notwithstanding), we must have a thorough understanding of the project so we can write specifications, create elevations and a detailed drawing based on our product lines. As long as the client will sit down with us to exchange ideas and provide us feedback as we create the scope of work there’ no fee.

Do you offer financing?
Yes, we have many lending partners so we can satisfy everyone’s needs. Plus, it allows us to offer a variety of loan programs that are customized to each client’s needs.
